The three-day All Pakistan Zonal Heads Conference held at the head office of Employees Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) ended here on Tuesday. At the conference, all the zonal and departmental heads of EOBI from all over the country presented their papers. Divisional and departmental heads at the head office also participated in the meetings and spoke on the performance of their respective departments. Open discussions on the performance of every department were also held.

Review of past six months' performance of the institution and implementation of Accrual System; standardisation of norms in different industries and IT solution and role of zonal and regional heads was the main agenda items of the conference.

Chairman EOBI Shafi Malik highlighted the performance and future plans of the EOBI. He emphasised that the institution has been set on the path of modernisation and institutional strategy.

He informed that accrual system for the transparent collection of contribution has been adopted.
